Gordon Flesch Company Honored to Receive Environmental Leadership Award

Madison, WI ‑ The Gordon Flesch Company was honored to receive the Environmental Leadership Award from NA Trading and Technology. The award recognized that the Gordon Flesch Company has recycled over 14,000 drum units with NA Trading and Technology since 2015. GFC is the first company to receive this award.

GFC has a long history of environmental responsibility and recycling. Our imageCARE cartridge recycling and re-manufacturing program enables us to re-use and recycle empty printer cartridges, reducing environmental impacts and offering a sustainable product to all our customers. According to NA Trading, the volume of recycled units from GFC to date would fill seven full-size, tractor-trailer shipping containers.

Our goal is to reduce the waste by-products of single-use plastics (such as those used in the creation of the drum units for MFPs), which will take 1,000 years or more to decompose in local landfills. “Recycling is not an afterthought for GFC. It is built into our company’s DNA and our imageCARE managed print services,” says William Quintanilla, Purchasing Manager at Gordon Flesch, who received the award on behalf of the company. “NA Trading and Technology has been a valuable partner and helped us fulfill our vision.”
