Madison, WI— The Gordon Flesch Company (GFC), a leading technology solutions provider and the largest independent Canon Dealer in the U.S., was among the 137 companies chosen this year as a 2019 Elite Dealer.

ENX Magazine’s list is an annual Who’s Who list of technology dealers, ranking dealerships from the smallest up to firms like GFC with revenues in the hundreds of millions of dollars. ENX believes all recipients demonstrate the highest commitment to customer satisfaction, quality service, sales and support, cutting-edge technologies and a willingness to partner with clients in a manner that is mutually beneficial.

The award reflects the Gordon Flesch Company's place as one of the most innovative and successful dealerships in the United States. In 2019, GFC acquired Advanced Systems, Inc. (ASI), an independent dealer in the office technology industry with offices in Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota and Canon U.S.A. Inc. awarded the Gordon Flesch Company the “Top Dollar Volume Award,” for the fifth consecutive year. In addition, the company is now an authorized full-line Ricoh Family Group (RFG) dealer partner, greatly expanding its technology offerings.

ENX Magazine has recognized GFC’s leadership as among the most innovative in the industry. This year, Patrick Flesch, President of The Gordon Flesch Company, was named to the 2019 Difference Makers of the Document Technology Industry List, an honor awarded to his father, Thomas Flesch in 2018.

“2019 was a big year for GFC, with a major acquisition, new manufacturer partnership, and solid growth in our hardware, consulting, and Managed IT businesses,” said Gordon Flesch Company president, Patrick Flesch. “It is very gratifying to be recognized for this prestigious honor by ENX Magazine, not just for our businesses success, but for our commitment to customer service and responsible business practices, which have served GFC well since our founding in 1956.”

In addition to offering clients premier business technology equipment, GFC also offers consulting services and financial solutions with GFConsulting and in-house leasing. The Gordon Flesch Charitable Foundation, managed entirely by company associates, has donated over $1.9 million to local charities since its inception in 2002.

ENX Magazine selected this year’s winners based on several criteria, including marketing prowess, digital transformation, leadership, work environment, technology, customer service and charitable endeavors.

“In our eyes, an Elite Dealer makes a concerted effort to produce a winning experience for not just its clients, but its employees and vendors as well,” said Susan Neimes, managing editor of ENX Magazine and ENX The Week In Imaging. “A defined corporate culture and a willingness to embrace new technologies—and share them with their customer base—also goes a long way. There’s no one ingredient behind an Elite Dealer—it’s a confluence of many factors that lifts these performers above the rest.”
