In an interview with Industry Analysts’ Andy Slawetsky, Canon U.S.A. reflected on and honored Gordon Flesch Company (GFC) for reaching the milestone of 65 years of continuous growth and expansion. In that time, GFC and Canon has been partners for over 40 years, with GFC becoming Canon’s largest independent dealership.

Canon recently awarded GFC with its Top Dollar Volume Award – Seven Consecutive Years Award. This special award recognizes GFC as the nation’s largest independent dealership of Canon office technology hardware from 2014 through 2020.

Family-owned for 65 years, GFC first partnered with Canon in 1980 and has been the top-selling independent Canon dealer in the nation for many of those years. “We congratulate Gordon Flesch’s 65 years of success,” said Mason Olds, Senior VP and General Manager at Canon U.S.A. Inc. “We’ve had the pleasure of working with three generations of the Flesch family and we look forward to continuing to provide its customers with innovative solutions to help them meet their business needs for years to come.”

In the interview, GFC CEO Tom Flesch and Olds reminisce about the origins of the companies’ relationship, recall successes of the past and look forward to future growth. “We have been a Canon dealer now for close to 41 years. I think what Canon has done over the years is that they always have machines that really set the standard for the market,” says Tom Flesch. “The technology has been excellent, but the support is great as well and they have wonderful people calling on us.”
